Afternoon Summer Camp (June 8-12, 2026 12:30-3:00pm)

$150.00

Join us in the historic Quartermaster building at 21st and Woolworth Avenue in Omaha as we take a break from screens to kick off our summer. Learn how the ocean’s bottom can teach us about the world we live in on land.  For years, we knew more about outer space than we did about the bottom of the sea. Scientists are working to change that by studying ecosystems below sea level around the world and studying how our choices are impacting them. Ocean wildlife consists of fish, mammals, reptiles, and invertebrates. We will learn a little about each of these. Videos will be used to allow us to see some of their habits, as we are in a land locked area. We will also create an ocean-themed calming jar to keep at the end of the week. All materials provided. Just bring a water bottle and a willingness to learn and have fun. Ages 8-13 welcome (Special needs accommodated, please contact instructor directly, at April@classrethink.com)
